How it works: 

Lactation Consultations are typically 60-90 minutes, depending on your needs.

  • The goals of a prenatal appointment are for us to establish care, discuss your feeding goals, and share information about feeding your baby before they arrive.

  • During a postpartum visit, I will observe you feed your baby and offer assistance, if needed. I have a scale that allows us to determine how much milk your baby is getting in the observed feed. You can ask questions that have come up for you. We will come up with a feeding plan together that works for you and your baby.

I offer assistance with:

  • Feeding Positions

  • Bottle Feeding

  • Pumping 

  • Flange fitting

  • Low milk supply

  • Slow infant weight gain 

  • Nipple pain

  • Engorgement

  • Plugged ducts 

  • Return to paid work

  • Weaning
