About Me

I have worked as a nurse for 12 years in a variety of hospital settings. This has shaped my understanding of today’s complex medical system. I became interested in lactation while helping my sister navigate the challenges of nursing and care for a new baby, and completed my Certificate in Human Lactation at Portland State University in 2025.

I am drawn to lactation support because it centers care, responsiveness, and connection within the medical framework. After working in fast-paced hospital environments, I am grateful for the opportunity to slow down, build meaningful relationships, and support families as they nurture their earliest bonds through feeding.
